The San Francisco Bay Area

San Francisco is a relatively small city that is famous for its hilly streets, foggy coastline, and a temperate year-round climate.  There is never a bad time to visit the iconic city by the Bay. With a relatively small population and metropolitan size, San Francisco is a perfect blend of a big city with a small town feel.

Situated between the Pacific Ocean and Bay, San Francisco tends to have a yearly temperature range between 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit, with the summers often being slightly cooler. Directly north of the city lies the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, which is the gateway to beautiful destinations such as Muir Woods, Marin Headlands, Sausalito, and Wine Country. To the East of San Francisco is the expansive Bay Bridge, that provides access to the nearby cities of Berkeley and Oakland.  South of San Francisco is Silicon Valley, and miles of the beautiful coastal highway, Route 1.
